Song of Silence

Teenage girl Xiao Jing lives in a remote city in Huang Province, and apart from geographical isolation, she is separated from the rest of the world by her deafness. Her only company is her uncle, an artist for whom Xiao sometimes poses. But that hobby is too scandalous for a small community which is why Xiao is forced to move in with her father Haoyang, a police officer who lives in a big city. The whole story is further complicated by the pregnancy of Haoyang's girlfriend, rocker Xiao Mei.
